Railway laying crane КЖУ-571 is destined for laying and dismantling a railway track with the rail lengths of a rail-sleeper grate weighing up to 21 tons an up to 25 m long with P-43 - P-75 rails including on the wooden or ferro-concrete sleepers when repairing and building the railways having 1520 mm track.
КЖУ-571 is the leading machine of track laying and track dismantling train, in this complex are also included self-propelled motor platform МПД-2 manufactured by “1st May Kirovsky Mashzavod”, JSC and typical 4-axle platform with a roll conveyor for fixing and moving the rail lengths of a rail-sleeper grate on it.
A distinctive feature of railway laying crane КЖУ-571 from the other analogs is availability of two diesel-hydraulic units providing reliable work of the all crane mechanisms.
Lifting crane equipment is located on a laying crane truss and consists of the load and traction crabs, two load carriages, cable-block equipment, a load-carrying capacity limiter, a limiter of load carriages travel, rope supports and a load gripping cross bar.
Control of movement and execution of working operations is carried out from the control stations placed on the both sides of the crane. Laying crane КЖУ-571 is additionally equipped with remote radio control of all the operations.
Climatic version У placing category 1 ГОСТ 15150, but for work at a temperature of -10°C up to +40°C when a ballast is not regelated.
