Liner-tamper-stabilizing machine ВПРС-05 is destined for execution of liner-tamper-straightening works and also for stabilization and rising transverse stability of a railway track and the turnouts.

ВПРС-05 is applied in building of new, repairs and current maintenance of the active railways having track 1520 mm with the rails up to P75 inclusively with the wooden and ferro-concrete sleepers for all the types of  rail braces and ballast.

The machine is equipped with a remote device for raising a third rail which provides work on the heavy turnouts with the ferro-concrete bars. This device allows to perform raising a third rail and partial tamping of a long bar in a third point for its fixing.

The two-sleepers tamping blocks making tamping one sleeper from two sides and two adjacent sleepers from one side are installed on  ВПРС-05. The units are equipped with automated lubrication system “Lincoln”.

Stabilization mechanism consisting of two vibrating blocks having unbalances in antiphases is installed in a base of the machine.

In working process on a tail track section machine ВПРС-05 by the first pass combines measuring travel with setting the track into a design position, its tamping and fixing in a projection. The machine by the second pass (in backward direction) makes stabilization of the lined track saving its position.

A microprocessor system of the machine allows to fulfil control of all the executing devices, calculation of control actions in a track alignment control system in the modes both with preliminary measuring travel and without it, control of aligned track in a process of working pass in a track alignment and a ballast tamping mode, control of a track settlement when straight and backward passing when the stabilizing blocks work, control and diagnostics of 86 parameters of the machine assemblies condition.

A transmission of the machine is made on  diesel “Cummins” (USA) and hydro-transmission “Voith” (Germany)  base. ВПРС-03.3 is able to move on its own on the main tracks to a working place owing to high transport speed, available radio, system of traffic safety, automated system of fire detection and extinguishing in a power plant.

Climatic version type У, allocation category 1 under ГОСТ 15150, but for work at any time of the day at an
environment temperature from -10°C up to +40°C when a ballast is not regelated.
