Track rail-welding self-propelled machine  ПРСМ-5 is destined for welding the railway rail joints by electro-arc method. Welding the rails can be executed both lying in a track where directly moves the machine and the rails laid along this track inside or outside the track on a distance of 3300 mm from a track axis.

Short description
The machine has installed devices for pulling the rails and technological equipment using which it is possible to pull a rail-sleeper grate and to proceed rails welding without releasing them from the sleepers.
