ЩОМ-1200ПУ – road metal cleaning machine is destined for a road metal ballast cutoff and cleaning, separation of its fractions and layer-by-layer distribution of cleaned road metal on the spans and station tracks with weeds removal into a special rolling stock, consolidation of a cut surface before darnit laying and layer-by-layer placing of cleaned ballast under a track grate, and also for cutting out (without cleaning) a ballast. Operation of executive devices of the machine and its movement during operation is provided by traction energy plant ТЭУ-630 manufactured by “Ludinovoteplovoz”, JSC.
Peculiarities and novelty of executable operations:
- one-screen processing;
- one-coupling;
- high production capacity up to 1200 m³/h;
- layer-by layer distribution of coarse and fine road metal;
- availability of road metal stock hopper for dumping a rail-sleeper grate after finish of the works;
- application of a raised capacity screen having controlled frequency and amplitude of oscillation;
- smooth feed speed control;
- low energy consumption.
