Is destined for:

  • drilling the pits for installation of the contact system masts;
  • mounting and dismantling the elements of contact system and the masts;
  • the ferro-concrete masts and other cargo transport on the own and
  • trailed platform;
  • execution of shunting and loading-unloading works;
  • supply the consumers with 380/220 V 50 Hz electricity in a field condition, including that for welding works.


The motor-rail car is self-propelled two-axle vehicle. A bearing cab with a load-lifting crane equipped with removable cradles is placed on a front stand. Drilling equipment with the outriggers is installed on a tail stand. Hydromechanic transmission, consisting of power plant – diesel ЯМЗ-238 Б-14б, hydrotransmission ГП 300 (or  ГMП 300) and a cardan gear to the axle reducers of the wheel pairs, is placed in the middle part under a frame.
