  • mounting and dismantling the contact system masts;
  • drilling the pits for installation of the contact system masts;
  • loading-unloading works;
  • transport of various cargo on an own platform and also on the trailer platforms;
  • execution of shunting works;
  • supply the consumers with electricity in a field condition;
  • transportation  the teams to a working place.


The motor-rail car is a self-propelled two-axle vehicle. Bearing cab designed for transportation 11 persons, including a driver and an assistant driver, is located on a front stand of a frame; mounting platform is above the cab, power plant – diesel ЯМЗ-238Б-14 is in the middle part under the frame, drilling plant – ОБЖД-0.8/4.5 is in the middle part on the frame, crane-manipulator HIAB-225 or PALFINGER is on a tail stand.
