Destined for:
- mounting, repair, emergency restoring works of a contact system of the electrified railways under voltage of DC 3,3 kV and AC 27,5 kV;
- transport of the platforms with various cargo;
- supply the consumers with electricity in a field condition;
- executing shunting works and transportation of the working teams.
The motor-rail car is a self-propelled two-axle vehicle. A bearing cab with a crane is placed on a front stand. Power plant and mounting platform are on a tail stand. A load-lifting telescopic crane executes mounting and dismantling the contact system masts, loading and unloading different cargo. The cradles available on the crane allow performance of mounting, repair and emergency restoring works of a contact system on a neighbor track free of voltage.
