Is destined for cleaning and widening the ditches, cutting new ditches, setting right the track-bed benches and the fill slopes of a formation, making the cross trenches in a rotor working zone, making the longitudinal trenches, profiling a ballast section, conveyance a cut material into a rolling stock or to a dump.   

Power supply of  MKT machine executive devices and its moving in a working mode is provided by traction module of УТМ-2М, ПТМ-63, ТЭУ-630 type.

It executes the following works:
- cleaning, deepening, widening and profiling the existing ditches and trenches;
- cutting the new ditches and trenches with profiling a fill slope bottom;
- leveling a surface of the track-bed benches and the fill slopes of a formation;
- removal of an odd ballast and the weeds from the track-bed benches of a formation, fill slopes, banquettes and cuts with loading into the universal gondola cars, rolling stock on a adjacent track or to a dump;
- moving and shifting a ballast on a track-bed bench of a formation;
- setting right a ballast section and leveling a ballast in an intertrack space.
