Description of the machine

Machine mod. 6963-024 is destined for a “side frame” detail machining. It provides machining both new cast workpieces and the details restored by weld deposition. Machining a side frame for bogie type 18-100 and its modifications and the bogies of prospective designs having increased axle load is possible without readjusting the machine.

Executable operations:

- drilling eight holes in a bolster opening for friction facings.
